Shepton Mallet’s Sunday Market is organised, funded and supported by Mendip District Council and a small team of volunteers.

We also receive generous funding and support from Shepton Mallet Town Council.

We are always looking for volunteers, so if you would like to be involved in the market in any way i.e distributing leaflets, stewarding, putting up banners or posters, please contact us.


Started in 2016, we hope to continue our success into the future


The first Shepton Mallet Sunday Market took place in November 2016 and was a huge success, drawing hundreds to Shepton Mallet market place.


Based on the success of the first market, Mendip District Council agreed to support a monthly market starting in March 2017.
